Mountain Ski Resorts of Perisher Blue, Thredbo, Blue Cow, Guthega,
Smiggins Holes and Charlotte Pass. From Jindabyne you can pick and choose
your skiinng / snowboarding holiday day by day. Book your ski/snowboard
accommodation holiday at Jindabyne through this site. Ski, Board at your favourite Snowy
Mountain location all day and surf on the Internet in the evening. You can
even Ski on the free computer supplied (with Skiing 99). We have been

<p>I have available for holiday rental a studio apartment located on the
western side of Horizons resort <a HREF="map.jpg">on Kosciuszko Road</a>
in the heart of Jindabyne overlooking both the Snowy Mountains and Lake.
Jindabyne. Jindabyne is the premier centre of the
<a HREF="http://www.kos.com.au">Snowy Mountain Region</a>, New South
Wales, Australia. To all Internet surfers I am offering up to <b>33%
discount</b> (depends on date and length of stay - see comparative rates
below) off the commercial rates (as charged by the on-site management)
when bookings are made direct with myself. I am one of the trustees of the
Australian Legal and Technology Superannuation Fund the owners of the
apartment. I am not associated with the on-site management. and your
booking is not made through the on-site management. The resort is in the
heart of Jindabyne. Our unit includes (at no extra cost) a
<a HREF="unitkristy.jpg">Pentium 333Mhz computer</a> (8 gig hard disk,
32MB RAM, 48X CDROM drive, sound card, 56K modem and stacks of licensed
software) plus many other free extras. This is your chance to relax on a
holiday but still have access to a decent computer. 7 hours of Internet
access are provided free per week. Additional hours can be arranged at $2
per hour.</p>
<p>In winter you have easy access to Australia's premier ski resorts. The
Resort provides easy access to the alpine splendour of Kosciuszko National
Park. Skiing or snowboarding at Perisher Blue, Thredbo, Blue Cow, Guthega
or Smiggins Holes - the choice is yours every day. You can even

SnowCams at Perisher Blue (here we show front valley)</a> or
<a HREF="http://www.thredbo.com.au/winter/snow_rep/images/mt_full.jpg">the

Internet facilities in the apartment while you have breakfast.</p>
<p>If you want to take a day or two off from the snow, enjoy the
<a HREF="fish.jpg">trout fishing</a> in Lake Jindabyne, which is open to
fishing all year round. Two fishing rods are provided for you to use. </p>

<h2>The Resort</h2>
<p>The resort contains 120 units all of which are strata-titled. On-site
management looks after the reception desk and office. <a HREF="planr.gif">The
Resort (we are in Building 5)</a> includes a <a HREF="tennis.jpg">tennis
court</a>, <a HREF="pool.jpg">indoor heated swimming pool,</a> a
licensed restaurant and bistro, bar, <a HREF="gym.jpg">gymnasium</a>, ski
hire, children's game room, cosy lounge and firepl ace and unrestricted
access to Lake. Jindabyne.The licensed restaurant caters for all tastes at
a price that families can afford.</p>
<p>Our unit has <a HREF="carpark.jpg">undercover parking immediately to
the right of the unit entrance</a> You don't have to go up or down steps
to enter the unit from the car park.</p>
<p>The Jindabyne shopping centre, many more restaurants and entertainment
are only a short walk away.</p>

<h2>The Unit</h2>
<p>The unit is a <a HREF="plan.gif">Studio Apartment (click for plan)</a>
with a king size bed in an alcove. Alternatively the king bed can be
separated into two single beds. From our balcony, you have direct views of
both the mountains and the lake. The lounge/dining/kitchen area is large
and includes seating for four. The modern kitchen includes a ceramic
stove, microwave and refrigerator. The lounge includes a sofa which
converts to a double bed in minutes giving sleeping accommodation for up
to four people. We can also provide a free trundle bed. <b>We have a
strict maximum of 4 guests in the apartment. </b>The lounge leads to a
private balcony with <a HREF="view.jpg">magnificent view across the lake</a>
towards alpine foothills and the Kosciuszko National Park. The balcony
includes an outdoor setting seating four and your own private gas
barbecue. After snowfalls in Jindabyne, <a HREF="unitsnow.jpg">the snow
can come right up to the unit.</a></p>
<p>The unit also includes a separate ensuite/laundry including shower,
toilet, washing machine and dryer. Other facilities included are TV set,
Satellite TV reception, video recorder and steam iron. All cutlery,
crockery, kitchen utensils, linen and towels are included.</p>
<p>Although all cooking facilities are provided, you can also dine at the
on-site licensed restaurant McEnvoys for breakfast, lunch or dinner.</p>
<p> There are 20 pre-recorded video tapes for your enjoyment.</p>
<p>Service and linen change are provided weekly.</p>
<p>Two fishing rods are provided if you want to try your luck with the
trout. Fishing in the lake is open year round.</p>
<p>A direct TELSTRA telephone are provided for your use. Local calls on the
TELSTRA phone are FREE and your friends may dial in anytime day or
evening.</p>

<h2>Prices</h2>
<p>The unit is rented out either for weekends (Friday/Saturday nights),
mid-week (Sunday - Thursday nights) or weekly (7 nights). on a weekly
basis Saturday to Saturday. Check in time is after 3pm on day of arrival
and check out time is before 10am on day of departure. The time in between
is for cleaning the unit. I have shown the room only rates both through
the on-site management and direct through myself. Compare and save.</p>

<p>We include champagne on arrival, all linen and towels, cooking
facilities, weekly service (if staying for more than a week), welcome pack
(tea, coffee, sugar, milk, chocolate etc). We also supply a six pack of
Kellogg's cereals and a litre of long life milk.</p>
<p>As well as the computer and internet access, we include a gas barbcue on
the balcony, a VCR with a range of pre-recorded tapes and a stereo
(cassette/CD). </p>

<h2>Computer Software</h2>
<p>A wide range of licensed software plus a range of common shareware has
been installed on the 8GB Gigabyte Hard Disk or available through CDROMs
(20 provided). The operating system is Windows 98.</p>
<p>Business type software includes Microsoft Office Professional (Word,
Excel. etc). .</p>
<p>There are literally dozens of games for your enjoyment. Ski on your
favourite slope with Skiing 99. Microsoft GOLF lets you play golf in the
evenings. The children will enjoy Lion King, Timon and Pumba'jungle games,
The Microsoft Magic School Bus, Goosebumps, the Haunted House and Speed
Racer. Adventure fanatics can get engrossed in the best seller MYST or the
complete range of Kings Quest games. Racing drivers can try Need for Speed
II or CART. The violent types can try HELLBENDER, DOOM, DOOM 2 or QUAKE.
There are games for all ages. CDROM titles provided for your enjoyment
include: <br> QUAKE, NEED for Speed II, HELLBENDER, Microsoft ENCARTA,
Microsoft GOLF, Microsoft CART, GEX, MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS,
GOOSEBUMPS-Attack of the Mutant, GOOSEBUMPS-Escape from Horrorland, MAGIC
SCHOOL BUS EXPLORES the Solar System, MYST, Timon and Pumba Jungle Games,
Kings Quest 6 and Leisure Suit Larry.</p>

<h2>Internet Access</h2>
<p>The Pentium computer is fully equiped for accessing the Internet via
Microsoft Explorer Version 5 or Netscape.</p>
<p>We use Smart Radio Systems as our Internet Service provider. We provide
7 hours of Internet access free a week with no charge for the phone call.
Aditional hours are $2 per hour. You may also check your home email as
well as browse the Internet. The default email address of the apartment is
resort@snowy.net.au.</p>

<h2>Bookings</h2>
<p>Check the <a HREF="vacanciesw.html">vacancies</a> and select the
week(s) you want. Then book via HTML forms, phone, fax or email me to make
a tentative booking. I will then hold the selected week for 7 days pending
receipt of $100 deposit to confirm the booking. My postal address is Peter

unit are posted to you together with a stamped envellope for return of
keys. <b>Please specify your required bedding arrangements</b>. The main
alcove can be set up with either a king bed or two single beds. The sofa
converts to a double bed (with innerspring mattress) and we can supply a
trundle bed. There is a strict limit of 4 people in the apartment.</p>
<p>On receipt of your booking, we will confirm the availability of your
required period. You are required to pay a deposit of 50% of the booking
within 7 days of us confirming that your period is available. When booking
direct with myself, I will post you a key about a week before your booking
starts. You will be supplied with a stamped , addressed envelope for
return of the key.</p>

<h2>Cancellations</h2>
<p> For more than 8 weeks notice prior to arrival, full refund less a $50
cancellation service fee. No refund for less than 8 weeks notice of
cancellation. Notice of cancellation must be lodged in writing by email,
mail or fax. In light of the cancellation policy, we strongly recommend
travel insurance.</p>
<h2>Security Deposit</h2>
<p>On confirmation of your booking, you will be asked to provide a credit
card number. This will be used should a claim need to be made, but only
with the tenant's knowledge and on producing proper receipts. Tenants are
reminded that all breakages (accidental or otherwise) must be compensated
for, that the property must be left in a reasonable condition and that
exceeding the <b>occupancy maximum is 4</b> will result in termination of
your stay. Keys lost or returned late will attract a fee of $15. </p>
