I have available for holiday rental accommodation a deluxe studio apartment located on the western side of Horizons resort on Kosciuszko Road in the heart of Jindabyne overlooking both the Snowy Mountains and Lake Jindabyne. Jindabyne is the premier accommodation centre of the Snowy Mountain Region, New South Wales, Australia. To all Internet surfers I am offering discounts for booking accommodation via the Internet ($30 for a two day stay, $70 for a five day stay and $100 for a seven day stay). I am the owner of one of the strata titled units and I am not associated with the on-site management. Your booking is not made through the on-site management. Please check our rates - they are typically 25% lower. The resort is in the heart of Jindabyne. Our unit (a de-luxe studio apartment) includes (at no extra cost) a dual processorPentium computer (Windows 7 OS, 500 gig hard disk, 3GB RAM, DVD DL Writer drive, sound card, ADSL Broadband access and stacks of licensed software) plus many other free extras. This is your chance to relax on a holiday but still have access to a decent computer. Internet access is free and you can also connect your opwn notebook via free wireless.
In winter you have easy access to Australia's premier ski resorts. The Resort provides easy access to the alpine splendor of Kosciuszko National Park. Skiing or snowboarding at Perisher Blue, Thredbo, Blue Cow, Guthega or Smiggins Holes - the choice is yours every day. You can even view the current snow report and SnowCams at Perisher Blue or the SnowCams at Thredbo from the Internet facilities in the apartment while you have breakfast.
If you want to take a day or two off from the snow, enjoy the trout fishing in Lake Jindabyne, which is open to fishing all year round. Two fishing rods are provided for you to use.

The Resort
The resort contains 120 units all of which are strata-titled. On-site management looks after the reception desk and office. The Resort (we are in Building 5) includes a tennis court, indoor heated swimming pool, a licensed restaurant and bistro, bar, gymnasium, ski hire, children's game room, cosy lounge and fireplace and unrestricted access to Lake Jindabyne.The licensed restaurant abd separate bistro caters for all tastes at a price that families can afford.
Our unit has undercover parking immediately to the right of the unit entrance You don't have to go up or down steps to enter the unit from the car park. The unit has disabled access.
The Jindabyne shopping centre, many more restaurants and entertainment are only a short walk away.
The Unit
The unit is a deluxe Studio Apartment (click for plan) with a king size bed in an alcove. alternatively the king bed can be separated into two single beds. From our balcony, you have direct views of both the mountains and the lake. The lounge/dining/kitchen area is large and includes seating for four. The modern kitchen includes a ceramic stove, microwave and refrigerator. The lounge includes a sofa which converts to a double bed in minutes giving sleeping accommodation for up to four people. We can also provide a free trundle bed. We have a strict maximum of 4 guests in the apartment. The lounge leads to a private balcony with magnificent view across the lake towards alpine foothills and the Kosciuszko National Park. The balcony includes an outdoor setting seating four and your own private gas barbecue. After snowfalls in Jindabyne, the snow can come right up to the unit.
The unit also includes a separate ensuite/laundry including shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer. Other facilities included are TWO WidESCREEN (16:9) TV sets (1 LCD and 1 CRT), a DVD Recorder connected to the TV in the main lounge and a DVD Player connected to the LCD TV, AUSSTAR Satellite TV reception, 2 in-house movie channels and steam iron. All cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, linen and towels are included. Two blank DVD+Rs are provided for your use on either the computer or the DVD Recorder.
although all cooking facilities are provided, you can also dine at the bistro or the on-site licensed restaurant McEnvoys for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Service and linen change are provided weekly.
Two fishing rods are provided if you want to try your luck with the trout. Fishing in the lake is open year round. We also include 2 tennis racquets and 2 squash racquets (for the courts at the bowling club).
A direct TELSTRA telephone are provided for your use. Local calls on the TELSTRA phone are FREE and your friends may dial in anytime day or evening.
The unit is non-smoking but you can smoke on the balcony if you wish.
Prices
For booking via the Internet, we give the following discounts off the
indicated prices:- Weekend booking $30. 5 day booking $70. 7 day booking $100.
The unit is rented out either for weekends (Friday/Saturday nights), mid-week
(Sunday - Thursday nights) or weekly (7 nights) (Friday-Friday or
Sunday-Sunday). Check in time is after 4pm; on day of arrival and check out
time is before 10am on day of departure. The time in between is for cleaning
the unit.

We include champagne or wine on arrival, all linen and towels, cooking facilities, weekly service (if staying for more than a week), welcome pack (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, chocolate, a free blank DVD etc). We also supply a six pack of Kellogg's cereals and a litre of long life milk.
As well as the computer and internet access, we include a gas barbecue on the balcony, TWO DVD players (one is a RECORDER) with 40 DVDs, and even tennis and squash racquets.
Computer Software
A wide range of licensed software plus a range of common shareware has been installed on the 500GB Gigabyte Hard Disk or available through CDROMs/DVDROMs (40 provided). The operating system is Windows Windows 7.
Business type software includes Microsoft Office Professional 2003 (Word, Excel. etc). YAHOO CHAT/MESSENGER and MSN MESSENGER with WEBCAM and HEADSET facilities are provided.
There are literally dozens of games for your enjoyment. Ski on your
favourite slope with Skiing 99. Microsoft GOLF lets you play golf in the
evenings. The children will enjoy Lion King, Timon and Pumba jungle games, The
Microsoft Magic School Bus, Goosebumps, the Haunted House and Speed Racer.
Adventure fanatics can get engrossed in the best seller MYST or the complete
range of Kings Quest games. Racing drivers can try Need for Speed II or CART.
The violent types can try HELLBENDER, DOOM, DOOM 2 or QUAKE. There are games
for all ages. CDROM titles provided for your enjoyment include:

The Pentium computer is fully equipped for accessing the Internet via Microsoft Explorer Version 7 via always on ADSL. So now you can check the webcams at Thredbo and Perisher whilst having breakfast.
We provide free Internet access via broadband ADSL. As well as access via the free computer you can also bring your laptop and conect it via wireless. You may also check your home email as well as browse the Internet. The email address of the apartment is resort @ecity.com.au.

Check the vacancies and select the week(s) you want. Then book via HTML forms, phone, fax or email me to make a tentative booking. An electonic key is emailed to you 7 days before your booking together with a stamped envelope for return of keys. Please specify your required bedding arrangements. On receipt of your booking, we will confirm the availability of your required period. You must pay your balance on or before your day of arrival at the resort. I will email to you an electronic key about a week before your booking starts. You will also be provided with directions on how to obtain a key to the building on arrival.
